From sourcing, due diligence, building out micro-theses, portfolio support and investor relations, we want to create a flexible, fulfilling experience for you to geta head start in venture in one of the most exciting startup ecosystems on the planet!
What will I be working on?
We'll work with you to create an experience that fits your aspirations but here are 3 key areas we hope to work with our Venture Associate Fellows on:
1. Pipeline Building:
a) Be one of the first points of contact for potential investees, managing them through the investment pipeline
b) Early / light review and initial analysis of company information
i) Develop processes to support this work (we have 100s of cold inbound monthly)
ii) Coordinate initial conversations
2. Research & Diligence:
a) Support the due diligence process in the advanced pipeline
b) Research and build investment theses
c) Engage and coordinate both primary research and desktop research on sectors
d) Review confidential company information and financials
e) Work closely with Sherpa team of partners and venture partners to reach a robust and informed investment decision.
3. Portfolio Management:
a) Work with the team to plan portfolio support sprints utilising time, expertise and networks of our partners, venture partners and LP base
b) Coordinate the delivery of portfolio support
c) Act as specialist and directly deliver portfolio support where appropriate

The Details
We're flexible to design your experience around your life, we anticipate our fellows to build with us for 4 - 8 hours a week over a 3 - 6 month period. And yes, we will absolutely will provide a financial compensation package.
